Do You Need a Permit?
For a simple legal ceremony with no furniture or formal setup, a separate ceremony booking is generally not required if you’re simply meeting in one of the public areas of Bicentennial Park.

you should book the official wedding ceremony location through Sydney Olympic Park Authority.
Park staff regularly manage the parklands, and organised wedding setups require approval. The Arc of Pines booking includes your ceremony reservation together with a wedding photography permit.
