The open lawns provide plenty of space for a simple legal ceremony while creating a relaxed, elegant backdrop for your photographs. Despite being only minutes from Sydney’s CBD, it feels surprisingly calm and removed from the city.
Barangaroo Reserve Foreshore
The sandstone foreshore of Barangaroo Reserve offers one of the most unique waterfront ceremony locations in Sydney. Standing just metres from Sydney Harbour, you’ll exchange your vows surrounded by natural sandstone blocks, native landscaping and uninterrupted harbour views.
This spot has a more natural, rugged feel than the lawns above, making it ideal for couples wanting to be right beside the water. It’s particularly beautiful in the late afternoon, when the warm light reflects across the harbour and illuminates the sandstone, creating stunning photographs.
