Tucked away at the end of Molong Street in North Curl Curl, Curl Curl Headland is one of the Northern Beaches’ hidden gems for intimate wedding ceremonies. With breathtaking ocean views, native coastal bushland and dramatic sandstone cliffs, it’s the perfect setting for couples wanting a peaceful location away from the busier beaches.
A Hidden Coastal Ceremony Location
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to exchange your vows, Curl Curl Headland is hard to beat.
Accessed from Molong Street, the lookout sits above the coastline with uninterrupted views stretching along the Northern Beaches. The surrounding bushland creates a sense of privacy that’s difficult to find at many of Sydney’s more popular wedding locations.
The ceremony spot shown in the photos is located a few minutes’ walk from the main headland path. While the walk isn’t long, it includes uneven ground and isn’t completely flat, so it may not be the best choice if you or any of your guests have accessibility or mobility concerns. If accessibility is important, I’m always happy to recommend other beautiful Northern Beaches locations that are easier to access.
The reserve forms part of the protected coastal bushland between North Curl Curl and Dee Why, making it one of the area’s most naturally beautiful locations.
