Your ceremony can be as simple as gathering in the lounge room or around the kitchen bench to complete the legal formalities, or you can transform your backyard, balcony or courtyard into your own intimate wedding venue.
No venue hire. No travelling between locations. No unnecessary fuss. Just a wedding that works for you.
Whether you want a quick registry-style ceremony or something a little more styled and celebratory, I can come to your home and legally marry you there.

For some couples, getting married at home is all about keeping things incredibly simple.
You might have just the two of you and your two witnesses gathered around the kitchen bench with a glass of champagne ready to go. We complete the legal ceremony, sign the paperwork and you are officially married!
Or perhaps you would prefer to gather everyone in the lounge room, on the balcony or out in the backyard for a short ceremony before continuing with lunch, dinner or drinks.
There doesn’t need to be an aisle, chairs, decorations or even a designated “ceremony space”.
For a simple legal or registry-style wedding, all we really need is somewhere comfortable to stand or sit, your two witnesses over the age of 18, and somewhere to sign the marriage certificates.

What Do You Actually Need to Get Married at Home?
Legally, your home doesn’t need to be registered or approved as a wedding venue.
For the ceremony itself, you’ll need two witnesses who are both over 18, and there are certain legal words that must be spoken during the ceremony.
I’ll take care of the marriage paperwork and guide you through the legal process beforehand, so when the day arrives you can simply enjoy getting married.
For my Legals Only Ceremony, we can keep the ceremony to the required legal elements or add a few simple extras such as exchanging rings, personal vows, a short introduction or a reading.
