Marks Park
Located at the southern end of Bondi, Marks Park is one of the area’s most popular ceremony locations. The expansive clifftop lawns overlook the Pacific Ocean and provide breathtaking views in every direction. With plenty of open space and direct access to the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, it’s a beautiful setting for an intimate wedding or legal ceremony.
Ben Buckler
At the northern end of Bondi Beach, Ben Buckler offers a quieter alternative with elevated ocean views and impressive sandstone rock formations. It’s perfect for couples wanting a more secluded ceremony while still enjoying Bondi’s iconic coastal scenery.
Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk
The walking track between Bondi and Tamarama is filled with beautiful lookouts, grassy reserves and clifftop viewpoints. If you’re planning a simple legal wedding, there are several quieter pockets along the coastal walk that provide spectacular backdrops away from the busiest parts of the beach.
Bondi Beach
There’s no denying the appeal of getting married on Australia’s most famous beach. For very small legal weddings and sunrise ceremonies, the sand can provide an incredible backdrop.
However, Bondi Beach is one of Sydney’s busiest beaches throughout the year. During weekends, holidays and summer, you’ll be sharing the space with swimmers, surfers, tourists and beachgoers. If you’re looking for a little more privacy, I generally recommend one of the nearby clifftop locations instead.
