FAQs – For Wedding Ceremonies
The primary document is the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM), which must be lodged at least one month before your wedding date. I’ll guide you through completing this form and any additional documentation needed, ensuring all legal requirements are met. I will also need to see your photographic ID documents and evidence of place and date of birth. If you have been married previously, I also need to see evidence of divorce.
As your celebrant, I craft and conduct your ceremony, handle all legal paperwork, and ensure your wedding is both legally recognised and joyfully celebrated. My role is to make your ceremony meaningful and stress-free.
I offer two packages:
• Full Ceremony Package: $1,189 (incl. GST), which includes a personalised ceremony, unlimited consultations, and all legal paperwork.
• Legals Only Ceremony: $550 (incl. GST), ideal for couples seeking a simple, registry-style ceremony in a more personal setting.

To secure your date, get in touch to confirm my availability. A signed agreement and a $250 non-refundable deposit are required. Final payment is due 8 weeks before the ceremony.
Yes! I’m happy to travel outside of Greater Sydney for Full Ceremonies. Travel fees may apply for locations such as the Southern Highlands, Central Coast, and the Blue Mountains, but I’ll always be upfront about any costs.
For Legals Only Ceremonies, I only service Greater Sydney.

I always recommend your celebrant blend in and match your colour palette for your ceremony. This ensures the aesthetic blends seamlessly, and I complement your ceremony without standing out in your photos. This is more relevant for Full Ceremonies.
For Full Ceremonies: As many as needed! Meetings are flexible, and unlimited correspondence is included in your package. Generally, our first face-to-face planning meeting is the longest, followed by a final catch-up in the days before the ceremony to review everything and sign the final documentation.
For Legals Only Ceremonies: It is common for our communication to be entirely virtual until your ceremony day.
Full Ceremonies: Typically, ceremonies last 20–30 minutes, but it’s tailored to you. Generally, you should allow around 30 minutes in your run sheet or timeline. While the script is designed for 15–20 minutes, it usually extends to around 30 minutes with natural pauses and key moments.
Legals Only Ceremonies: Around 5–10 minutes, including the legally required wording and certificate signing.
Two people over the age of 18 who understand advanced English. They don’t need to be Australian citizens or family members – they simply need to be present and able to sign the marriage certificates.
In the rare event that I’m unable to officiate, I have a network of trusted celebrants I can call on, so you won’t be left in the lurch.
I lodge all your paperwork with Births, Deaths & Marriages, and you’ll receive a commemorative certificate on the day. I also pay for and request your official Certificate of Marriage, which will be posted to you via tracked mail directly from the registry the week after the wedding.

Absolutely. A Legals Only Ceremony is perfect for couples who want to be legally married without the full fanfare. It’s a short, simple ceremony that includes only the legal components, ideal for visa purposes, elopements, or private commitments. I offer this service from $550.

We can meet over video calls, and I’ll guide you through the process, including completing and lodging your NOIM remotely (if you’re located within Australia for signing). Yes! I share a selection of vow examples and tips, and I can help edit or polish your vows to make sure they match in tone and length.
No, I take care of all that for you. I lodge your documents with NSW Births, Deaths & Marriages, pay for your legal Certificate of Marriage, and arrange for it to be posted to you. You don’t have to do a thing after the ceremony – just enjoy being married!
Absolutely. Many couples choose to have a non-legal celebration overseas, at a later date, or with family. Your legal wedding with me can be as simple or meaningful as you’d like, and you can always celebrate again with a symbolic ceremony or vow renewal later.
